Hourly to Salary Calculator
Convert your hourly rate to an annual salary. See how much you earn per year.
How it works
This calculator multiplies your hourly rate by the number of hours you work per week and the number of weeks you work per year to determine your annual salary. The formula is: Annual Salary = Hourly Rate × Hours per Week × Weeks per Year. It also shows your weekly and monthly pay.
Example
If you earn $28 per hour and work 40 hours per week for 52 weeks, your annual salary is $58,240. Your weekly pay is $1,120 and your monthly pay is $4,853.33.
Frequently asked questions
Does this include overtime?
This calculator assumes regular hours at your base hourly rate. If you regularly work overtime, you'll need to calculate that separately and add it to your annual salary. Overtime is typically paid at 1.5x your regular rate.
How do I account for paid time off?
If you have paid time off, use 52 weeks per year since you're paid for that time. If your time off is unpaid, reduce the weeks accordingly (e.g., 50 weeks if you have 2 weeks unpaid vacation).
What if I work different hours each week?
Use your average weekly hours. Add up your hours over several weeks and divide by the number of weeks to get an average. This will give you a more accurate annual salary estimate.
